Tunisia ministers quit government as protests resume

BBC News reports on the continuing unrest in Tunisia as Prime Minister Mohammed Ghannouchi attempts to from a national unity government.  The new government was announced yesterday.  Three members of the General Union of Tunisian Workers were included in the government in ministerial positions.  However, they have resigned today in protest of the carryover of key ministers from former President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali’s administration.  In light of this, protests are continuing throughout Tunisia amid calls for any association with Ben Ali’s administration to be rid of from a new government.
