Protests in Yemen

While Hosni Mubarak has offered office to leave in October, Yemeni President Ali Adullah Saleh’s best offer was to depart from office in 2013.  According to BBC News, 20,000 gathered to protest in Sanaa today.  Compared to other protests that we have seen this month, this one was relatively mild.  Fortunately there was no violence, and the protests broke up in just a few hours.  Do be sure to follow the link on this one, because the article ends with a great table Social Indicators (stats) for several Middle East countries (personal complaint- Kuwait is not included).  That table makes me think that all Libya needs for political upheaval is more internet users.
