Tunisia and Egypt Struggle With Refugee Exodus From Libya

As violence continues in Libya, more and more Libyans are fleeing their country to the safety of Egypt and Tunisia.  The NY Times reports on the efforts of over 140,000 refugees that have fled the violence.  The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva estimates that up to 75,000 refugees have crossed into Tunisia and 69,000 refugees have crossed into Egypt.  Relief organizations are working hard to get supplies to the refugee camps set up for those fleeing Libya.  Violence has been reported at some border checkpoints as border guards are having issues controlling the flow of refugees.  This is a humanitarian crisis that needs to be addressed by the United Nation and the world.
