Join AHSS faculty Andrea L Stanton, Assistant Professor of Islam (Religious Studies), Jonathan Sciarcon, Assistant Professor of Middle East History (History / Judaic Studies), and Peter Hanson, Assistant Professor of US Politics (Political Science) for a roundtable discussion on the implications of the recent killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, US-born cleric and a leader of al-Qaeda in Yemen.
Each faculty member will comment for ten minutes on the implications of Awlaki’s death – Stanton on religious ideology, Sciarcon on Middle East politics, and Hanson on US policy – followed by a thirty-minute question and answer session.
