Skirmishes have broken out over the past day between militants in Palestine and the Israeli Defense Forces. BBC News reports on the latest fighting that Palestinian witnesses state began yesterday when an Israeli tank entered northern Gaza. Israel states the tank was pursuing militants planting explosives along the border fence. Late Wednesday, two rockets were fired from Gaza hitting a house in the Israeli city of Beersheba. No one was injured in this attack. Israel responded overnight with air strikes on four Hamas training facilities, no casualties were reported. It is up in the air as to whether more fighting will continue. Hopefully this flare up will die down with what appears to be very limited causalities.
