Saddam Hussein’s Deputy Sentenced to Death

Al Jazeera reports Iraq’s high tribunal has passed a death sentence on Tariq Aziz, one of deposed leader Saddam Hussein’s former foreign minister.    This article discusses the  international community’s reaction to the nascent Iraqi government’s decisions.

    Hard to feel sorry for the guy, considering his role in some pretty disgusting events, but at the same time, I feel no satisfaction reading this. It’s just an ugly end to an ugly affair.
